Timesheets: common questions

Can staff sign their timesheets in Day.io?

Yes. Staff sign their timesheet from a phone or a computer when the pay period closes. The signed copy stays on their record.

Can I set overtime rates in Day.io?

Yes. Each group of staff can have its own pay policy, with its own overtime, night and bank holiday rates. An hour that qualifies for more than one rate is paid once, at the highest.

Can Day.io send hours to whoever does our payroll?

Yes. Export approved hours as Excel or CSV for your bureau or accountant. Day.io also connects with ADP, SAP and Workday.

Can office staff clock in from a computer?

Yes. Office staff can clock in from the web app or the browser extension for Chrome and Edge. Their hours land on the same timesheet as clock-ins from the phone app.
