About Day.io
Founded in 2016, Day.io helps organisations of every size, from small teams to government agencies, cut the cost and complexity of tracking time and getting hours ready for payroll.
Built by people who've lived the problem
Day.io started in Brazil in 2016, born out of a simple frustration: time tracking and scheduling software was either stuck in the past or built for a single market. The team set out to build something that actually kept up with how modern, distributed teams work.
What began as a single-market product is now used by more than a thousand companies across 50 countries, from small businesses to government agencies. The mission hasn't changed: make tracking hours and shifts fast, accurate and painless, however large or spread out the team.

The principles behind the product
A few things we hold ourselves to, on every release.
Built for real operations
We design first for the shift supervisor and the person who runs HR, then for head office.
Your rules, set in Day.io
Working-time rules vary by country. You set yours in pay policies, with their own overtime, night and holiday rates.
Move fast, stay accurate
Dashboards update in real time, so overtime and missing hours show up before month-end.
Global by design
One platform, used in 50 countries. The app follows each person's phone language.
