About Day.io
Founded in 2016, Day.io helps organizations of every size — from small teams to government agencies — cut the cost and complexity of tracking time and processing payroll.
Built by people who've lived the problem
Day.io started in Brazil in 2016, born out of a simple frustration: time tracking and scheduling software was either stuck in the past or built for a single market. The team set out to build something that actually kept up with how modern, distributed teams work.
What began as a single-market product is now used by more than a thousand companies across 50 countries, from small businesses to government agencies. The mission hasn't changed: make workforce management fast, accurate, and painless — no matter how large or spread out the team.

The principles behind the product
A few things we hold ourselves to, on every release.
Built for real operations
We design for the shift supervisor and the HR generalist first, not just the org chart at headquarters.
Compliance without the guesswork
Time and labor rules vary wildly by country. We do the homework so our customers don't have to.
Move fast, stay accurate
Real-time data beats end-of-month surprises. Every number in the platform is one you can act on today.
Global by design
One platform, 50 countries, dozens of languages — built from day one to scale across borders, not bolted on after.
